All good things must come to an end, and our Gorey Shack will be closing on 15th October 2023.
We’ve loved welcoming islanders and visitors to our slice of Jersey Crab Shack on the east coast: Gorey has always been a special place for us and it’s been a privilege to serve so many guests and create thousands of happy memories there.
We’re sad to be leaving Gorey, but we’ve been unable to negotiate terms of a new lease, so it’s time to say goodbye.
We’re excited about the opportunity to bring something new to Jersey’s hospitality scene elsewhere, and to continue welcoming guests to our Jersey Crab Shack in St Brelade.
A big thank you goes to our Gorey team for the passion and commitment that they have brought to Jersey Crab Shack Gorey over the years. You’ll see them around our other restaurants and cafés as we’re working to support them in transitioning to other roles. Thank you also to all the customers who have supported us at Gorey over the years. We look forward to welcoming you to the original St Brelade Shack, and to our sister restaurants and cafés around Jersey.
